Life Drawing

Through weekly life drawing sessions (which I attended on Tuesday’s mornings 10-12:30 am) I explored ways of depicting the body.
I retained the idea of depicting movement in these studies, since most of my practice is of the body and of myself. I used life drawing as a tool in my studio practice endeavours. I explored mediums I wouldn’t usually use in the studio e.g. using dry mediums like pastels and graphite.
Each week I attended class with intentions that I wanted to explore within life drawing, which would lend itself to my studio practice that current week, this in the end helped me bring both aspects of my practice to one another.
I want to take more classes/workshops in the future to further develop this aspect of my practice.
