Through the recording of a variety of time lapses I wanted to enhance and showcase the beauty of movement through still imagery. I screenshotted, and then spliced together images taken from time lapses and edited them into “a stop-motion style” video.
I want to further develop these ideas by including imagery of paintings, collage clippings and more, with an audio overlay of sounds from garden. I want to create simultaneous a film/piece which encompasses a compilation of what life is like for me as a Neurodivergent individual on the Autistic spectrum.
I’ve learnt that you need to dedicate more time than you initially think to edit “a stop-motion style” video. Screenshotting and refining images take several hours, whilst the editing process takes less time but you need to know when I don’t need my phone so I can let my phone export the video, which is repeated two-three times more before you have the finished project.
